Since I was a kid, I made each space dedicated to me just how I envisioned it, and mostly, how I wanted people to feel when they entered (and stayed!) in my space.
I come from a family inspired by hospitality and the decor behind that sentiment. I learned the trades of decor early (thanks, Dad, for teaching me wallpapering and Mom, for the sewing know-how). I participated in the process, making the mistakes, negotiating a budget, so a DIY girl was found in me early on inspiring how I wanted to share that space with others.
It was the creative freedom and doer mentality my family encouraged that help evolve my own personal style over the years and my passion for making people feel cared for inside a curated space.

I live in Maine now. The Crooked Cape is my current home and is the most imperfect. This 1940's Cape-style home has been a humbling opportunity to see what I'm made of. It has also become the one home that shows my personality best.
The hospitality steeped into Maine's esthetic has inspired me to extend my design passion for helping others think about how those little elements of design help a guest feel welcome and how a first impression of personal care feels like a red carpet rolled out just for them.
